My 7 year old wore these to a wedding and they looked great. She said they were super comfortable and she kept them on through the reception and dancing.My teen daughter and I have been searching for weeks for the right shoe for her school dance. She didn't want heels but also didn't want anything too "little-girl." She tried on so many dressy sandals at various stores and we spent hours looking online. Nothing seemed to fit her properly or feel comfortable enough. These sandals arrived, and we are in love!! They are truly the perfect sandal (I feel I've been looking for a pair like these my entire life and have never been able to find them). The footbed shape/size is perfect for my daughter's narrower heel and wider toe area. The straps are buttery-soft, and while not adjustable, have a gentle elastic strap across the back that holds the sandal to the foot perfectly. They have a very subtle (~1/2") heel and the sole is rubbery and not slippery/slick like so many other dress sandals. My daughter normally wears a size 7.5 in women's and the Big Kid size 6 was perfect for her (the sandal came marked with a 39 inside, just FYI). The first photo shows my larger (size 8.5) foot as I also tried them on. The last photo shows my daughter's 7.5 feet wearing them. Note that the color is not a crisp, bright white, but more of a soft white. The last photo is not in natural lighting, so it makes the sandals look almost ivory, but they are not. The first two photos show the accurate color. Manufacturers, please keep making more shoes like this! We would buy them every time if available!Good.Really cute, but go up a size. She has a thick foot, I ordered her current size 1 and they just barely fit her, I recommend ordering a size up if you want them to last longer.The shoes were comfortable for my kids to wear all day long for a wedding. They walked, danced past bed time, and no complaints about the shoes hurting their feet. The fastener also helped keep them secure. Highly recommend, but they do seem to run a bit big. Make sure you take measurements.My daughter loves these and said they are very comfortable.Wanted leather, but GD said they're confy.
